Jocko adorable beagle needs home or rescue - Owingsville KY

Jocko is about 5 years old, his teeth in front are worn down, leading us to believe that he was crated for most of his life and used only for hunting.  He is the best dog in the world!  So very grateful for anything, food, kind words, a hug.   He is totally housetrained, a little on the timid side but has come very far since he was rescued, his socialization is in progress. Is great with all the other dogs, with my cats and is great with kids.  Jocko would be the perfect dog for anyone who appreciates beagles or anyone who is looking for a loyal loving companion.

 

Please crosspost if you can, he and Jackson (my other beagle that is still in need) are great buddies, but Jackson likes to play for longer periods of time, whereas Jocko is more of a couch potato with an occasional spurt of energy.

Someone needs to get Snoopy out out of Humane Society of the Ohio Valley.  He is 5 years old and this is a kill shelter.  Transportation available to Kittanning.

Buddie and Brittany two senior beagles need home! Central PA

These two beautiful Beagles came to Animal Rescue,

Buddie

Inc. a few weeks ago. Their caretaker passed away and no one else would take them. Brittany is 9-years-old and Buddie is 11-years-old -- both are on inexpensive daily medications which they take very easily! Buddie has been standing at the gate since he was brought here -- just waiting for his family to come back for him. Brittany has been happier at the rescue but still wants a forever home with her friend Buddie.

Bonnie is just a wonderful dog! She has been with me approx 5 weeks. She has the best disposition. At first she made a wide birth around my cats at first but now just goes about her business. Gets along great with my dogs and grand kids (7 yrs and 9 months). She is very active putting her nose to the ground and her tail held high. I don't think she had ever been inside so potty training is an ongoing thing. Loves to be snuggled with. Will paw at me when I quit loving on her for more. Loves squeaky toys and usually has it in her mouth. She is a thief. Steals anything and takes it to her bed or mine like a treasure. Not a chewer though. She likes to be up high like on an elevated table I have by the window. She will lay there and sleep and snore. Approx 6-8 yrs old. Probably 25/30 pounds. She was a little thinner when she got here. Has a tattoo in her ear that has faded and we have tried to track but no luck. This girl is a snuggle bug who loves to be next to me just touch. An escape artist. She can shinny up the corners of my fence so I sit out there the whole time she is out. As long as I am there she doesn't even attempt to get out. Good on leash however is skittish getting it on her. Who knows what this sweet girl has been thru yet is very loyal and loving. I can send you some pictures if you like. As you can tell I am in love as I am with each of my fosters. If you want any more info or clarifications please email me. I can ramble on even more. LOL. Thank you for any exposure you can give her. She really does need her own furever family even though I am not in a hurry for her to go.

Stateville NC Please rescue Elinore - great 8 year old female beagle

Elinore (A156154) is approx. an 8 year old Beagle that was found as a stray and never claimed by an owner. She is 26 pounds.  Due to her age and the hair loss (which looks more like old scars) she would not go up for adoption. She is a very sweet, older and calm beagle! Elinore had super long nails and one nail that looked like it was half way ripped out of the toe. Elinore looks like she has had a rough life and really deserves to have a 2nd chance at retirement!!!

Intake date: 03-07-13

Needs to be claimed and OUT of the shelter by: 03-22-13 or possibly PTS

Elinore's pull fee is $20 which includes a rabies shot, DHLPP, and a dewormer. We can do a heatrworm test on her for $25.
