Sparkle is an adult female Beagle, (maybe 5 years old) she is so sweet and gentle, she takes a moment or two to warm up to you and then she shows her sparkling personality. Sparkle was found running loose and no one has come to take her home. Please if you can rescue Sparkle, contact Anne Heckle

She is housebroken, obedient and listens well. Cassie loves affection and attention, but also loves her independence. She loves the outdoors, especially being in the sun. She would make a perfect pet for someone with a backyard to run around in. She would do best in a home with older children as she "feels threatened with smaller children, but has never bitten or snapped at anyone" according to Jimmy. She is a very good dog.

GILBERT is a tri-color beagle, about 9 years old, neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and walks great on leash. You couldn't ask for a better family dog. He loves affection and will nudge your hand to pet him when he wants it. He needs a family that will give him plenty of attention as he really loves being with his human friends. URGENT! Rescue needed for Edgar, young bealge in Ohio!

Volunteers' hearts are breaking for Edgar. He came in with Poe and then Poe got pulled to go to foster leaving Edgar behind. This sweet once smiling beagle boy is missing his friend and is whining in his kennel PLUS he is at the top of the euth list. He needs help immediately. There's a video on his petfinder link.
2-3 yrs old, 25-30 pounds, gets along with other dogs and is very affectionate and a real cuddle bug. He is the more affectionate of the two.

UPDATE RESCUED! Angelina little female beagle dumped in field in NJ with sores all over, flea infested needs rescue

This poor lady was dumped in a vacant field across the street from the shelter in terrible condition.Good thing someone spotted her there or who knows how long she would have lasted.

 Flea infested, maggots, and many bleeding sores all over her little body

Guess the owner didn't want to embarrass himself with doing what would have been the decent thing, and carry her into the shelter so she could recieve much needed vet care.

 It was easier to just dump her after allowing her to suffer in this condition.

 We have treated her for the fleas, bathed her, and begun her medication regiment.

A staff member has taken her home for a few days so she can rest up a little.

 Angelina is so stressed and weary that all she wants to do is hide her face under the blankets! She is a sweet and loving little girl who we think is about 6 yrs old and did not deserve to live the life she was given by her owner.

 If anyone has room for Angelina, please let me know!

Young beagle mix female needs rescue! Owingsville, KY

 This sweet 3 month old was living in a chicken coop with chicken poop as her bed and floor.  The poop was about 6 inches in some places.  She is adorable....needs a break, and I am hoping that you will please crosspost her for me.  She is typical puppy and is trusting of everyone, playful and fun.  Thanks for any and all consideration.
