This sweet beagle was found on the side of the road, he was watching cars go by and lookingfor his owner. The good Samaritan that found him wandering, put him up n a nice warm house for the night and left a donation of $300. to apply towards his adoption fee and medical bills. You see he is approx. 8 years of age and it's harder to find homes for our seniors. We do offer a "senior discount" on our adoption fee as well. He is so very sweet, calm and seems sad to be with us. We love nothing more for him to find a loving home to rest his head on and sit by your feet. He was tested and is h/w negetive and needs to be neutered, he has some coughing going on but again - he is h/w neg. - Don't let this genuinely precious dog not find a home for the holidays...don't you need a foot warmer? please email:  hsofac@gmail.com in Virginia.  Look at this adorable beagle CHAMP! So easy to fall in love with, look at this face!!! CHAMP is a 5 year old male beagle, the nicest and happiest beagle with a beautiful tri color coat weighing 40 pounds. In love with everyone and great with dogs AND CATS. Yep! unusual for a beagle right? But that's the kinda of fella CHAMP is, he is just a lover :-) CHAMP is a typical beagle and loves to sniff around, cause thats what beagles do. But when a human stops to pet him all sniffing is put on hold, as hugs are much better in CHAMP's book. Oh and he does not bark!!! Housetrained!! Little Stray Beagle Boy needs a home or rescue!! adorable~!

 Here is a picture of the little stray beagle my niece has.  He was taken to the vet and had blood work done and a check up, all his blood work came out fine and he is heartworm neg. He is not neutered, but I figured who ever gets him can do it and get his shots if he needs them. The blood work would show if he had heartworm etc so we opted for that. Wayne fell in love with him and said he is so sweet and playful the neighbors of my niece kept in him the house with them and he did fine. but we can not keep him, we are pushing our luck having 7.

Adopt Noelle, adorable senior female beagle at Mt Holly NJ shelter

 D45752 - Noelle is all beagle; that face, that look and that sniffing nose. Such a sweet dog, Noelle is around 7-8 years old and weighs 22 lbs. She loved going for a walk outside, enjoys the outdoors and walks nicely. She is very lively for an older dog. She had a great time sniffing all the donated dog and cat food in the lobby. Please meet this little girl and consider adopting her so she doesn't have to spend any more time in a cage.  please email

UPDATE ADOPTED!!!!Derek and Emmy, five year old bonded beagles need a home! located in Russelton, PA

 Derek and Emmy are around 5 yrs. They are most likely brother and sister and weigh under 25 lbs. They were found running on a country road. Both were infested with ticks and fleas and Emmy had giardia. They have been bathed and medicated and are doing well here. We are hoping to place them in the same home as they are more content when they are together. Emmy is very quiet for a beagle and Derek is the more vocal. When he picks up a scent he will do the baying common with beagles. They are unique in our experience as they do not have the white tip on the end of their tails. We have never seen a beagle without the white tip before these to darlings came to us. When they figured out that laps were for cuddles (Derek especially) they decided this was a wonderful thing to do.

Foster Home Needed For Champ, a Beagle in PA Shelter!!

 Meet Champ, a 7 year old male beagle weighing approxiomately 37 to 40 lbs.  He is currently in a PA shelter but a NYC rescue is willing to take him in if an approved foster home is found!  Champ loves to play with other dogs and will be neutered by the shelter.
