This sweet beagle was found on the side of the road, he was watching cars go by and lookingfor his owner. The good Samaritan that found him wandering, put him up n a nice warm house for the night and left a donation of $300. to apply towards his adoption fee and medical bills. You see he is approx. 8 years of age and it's harder to find homes for our seniors. We do offer a "senior discount" on our adoption fee as well. He is so very sweet, calm and seems sad to be with us. We love nothing more for him to find a loving home to rest his head on and sit by your feet. Little Stray Beagle Boy needs a home or rescue!! adorable~!

 Here is a picture of the little stray beagle my niece has.  He was taken to the vet and had blood work done and a check up, all his blood work came out fine and he is heartworm neg. He is not neutered, but I figured who ever gets him can do it and get his shots if he needs them. The blood work would show if he had heartworm etc so we opted for that. Wayne fell in love with him and said he is so sweet and playful the neighbors of my niece kept in him the house with them and he did fine. but we can not keep him, we are pushing our luck having 7.

UPDATE ADOPTED!!!!Derek and Emmy, five year old bonded beagles need a home! located in Russelton, PA

 Derek and Emmy are around 5 yrs. They are most likely brother and sister and weigh under 25 lbs. They were found running on a country road. Both were infested with ticks and fleas and Emmy had giardia. They have been bathed and medicated and are doing well here. We are hoping to place them in the same home as they are more content when they are together. Emmy is very quiet for a beagle and Derek is the more vocal. When he picks up a scent he will do the baying common with beagles. They are unique in our experience as they do not have the white tip on the end of their tails. We have never seen a beagle without the white tip before these to darlings came to us. When they figured out that laps were for cuddles (Derek especially) they decided this was a wonderful thing to do.

Hi-dee-ho neighbor! I'm new to these parts, recently residing in Kentucky. I'm hoping to start a new life in New Jersey; a clean slate, since my life in Kentucky was not the best.  Somebody decided to shoot me in the face and because I can't afford plastic surgery, I have the scars to remind me that life has not been good to me. As if that wasnt enough, I also had heartworm, but was recently treated and am recovering nicely.  Despite my 'ruff' past, I am still very trusting of people and like everyone I meet. UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!! Two Older Beagles Need Rescue or Home, they are mother/daughter

 Misty and Precious are mother and daughter beagles, ages 14 and 7.  Misty to the left is
the mom age 14 and Precious, below is the daughter.  They are both spayed and Precious has a current rabies. They play together run and bounce around when they are out of their kennels they love all people and other dogs.  These girls were turned into the Pound by their owners who were moving. They have been in a high volume pound for several weeks now and with a recent influx of dogs
they will not be able to keep them much longer. They live together in the same run, sleep in the same bed and share food out of the same bowl. When they are taken out for walks in an unfenced yard they don't even put the second one who is 14 years old on a leash, she follows the other one around. The first picture is a 7 year old unspayed female who has an old eye injury that seems
to be irritated. They are both very sweet and probably have both had very hard

Homestead Herbie is a sad guy. Dumped by some human on the side of the road in Homestead, Herbie just lay down and gave up. He was covered in cuts, bruises and scars which represented the life he has led. We picked him up  and cleaned his physical wounds, but the only thing that will repair his broken heart is to have a family to love and adore him for the rest of his life. Herbie is about 7 years old and a loving sweet fella. He is living in a kennel in a vet office, and is by far the most miserable pup there. Meet Curley, a disabled male beagle in CT who needs a new home!

Curley is a sweet 6 year old tri color disabled beagle.  Curly has been disabled since February 2010 and has come a long way.

He can’t walk on his hind legs so he scoots around the house by dragging them sometimes pivoting on his knees .

My husband did make him some wheels but he gets a rash when on them more than an hour however he enjoys really getting out.

The vet says he could walk again but needs extensive therapy. Curly wears a diaper so his urine doesn’t soil the house .

Louie (Petraits attached) is a quiet, gentle and calm, ten-year-old, 25-pound, tri-color Beagle looking for a loving guardian.
 Louie was found as a stray in Chicago. He is living in a foster home where he has proven himself just fine with other dogs as well as cats. He enjoys attention from humans too. He likes to be brushed and is good when being bathed.
Louie enjoys going for walks, but takes it very slow stopping to sniff everything along the way. He is housebroken, good in the car, and follows his foster mom around like a shadow at home. His tail is always happily wagging ... Especially if you have a treat.
Louie has been diagnosed with Cushings disease, he takes medication for that and for arthritis. He would do best with adults and teens who live in a home without a lot of stairs to climb. He is otherwise healthy, had a recent dental and blood-work, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, heartworm-tested, and micro-chipped. Violet is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. We have marked her as a special needs mainly because she is a senior. She just had her teeth cleaned and had severe dental disease and had quite a few teeth pulled. When she first came to us we think she had a seizure, which could be stress but it could also be why she was left on the side of the road. Adopt Sam, lovely 11 year old male beagle in PA needs new home

 Meet Sam, an 11 Year old beagle who needs a home. I adopted him from my boss just over 2 years ago. He is a great dog. He is very friendly. He loves walks, food, attention, and being around other pets and people. I was not in school when I got him and have since decided to go back. I've also had to pick up more hours at work and look for another job. I just don't have the time that Sam needs and deserves. More info:  Over the past two and a half years Sam tore the tendons in both of his back knees. The vet told me that surgery could be performed, but at his age is risky and not necessary. He walks fine, but he can't run too much or climb stairs frequently. He only barks indoors if someone knocks on the door and no one is around to answer; in which case he stops barking once the door has been answered and he knows the guest is friendly. He is fixed. He is very indifferent about other dogs and cats. He loves to be around them, but due to his legs he doesn't play very much. He is the same way with children. He loves to be petted by them and loves to smell them, but that's really it.

Kate was only 10 lbs when we got her--she should probably weigh 25. The other younger beagle is Angel. Adopt Pearl, 8 year old throw away beagle mom who needs a loving home!

Here is Pearl - she is a super pity case senior beagle who was pulled from a local high-kill pound just hours before she was scheduled to die. This is the most precious little dog in the history of the world. She is about 8 years old, weighs only 19 pounds - but needs to chunk on some weight still - and is very quiet, calm, and meek. She was an owner surrender to the pound and while we can not be 100% sure on her background, she smacks of a dog that has spent her life crammed in a rabbit hutch churning out litter after litter after litter after litter of beagle puppies. She is shy but warms up once she knows you are kind and sweet to her. She latched on to her foster mom really quickly and is content to follow her around the yard and is trying to be a dog - rolling in the grass, sniffing around, and then is ready to come back in the house for a nap. She is great in a crate - goes right in even when the door is open - but will not sleep on any type of bed - will scruntch it up in the corner and sleep on the crate floor.
