Carmel NY Rocco senior tan and white male beagle needs a home!

Rocco is a very sad little man. As cute as he is, his family surrendered him to their local high kill shelter because after having him for his whole life, they decided they wanted a puppy to replace him. So Rocco has found himself unwanted and unloved as a senior, the time in his life when he should be able to enjoy carefree days and nights. Rocco is fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm/lyme negative, and housebroken. He needs an experienced home and to be the only pet not because he's aggressive, but because he is feeling very insecure and stressed at the change in his life. For little Rocco, he was blindsided and as a result he attaches to his human trying to build a new security. He will need to be helped through this rough bump in the road of his life. Are you the one to change his world back around for him? So he can feel loved and valued once again as he did as a younger dog?

Please consider Rocco, he really deserves to be back in a home…contact Lisa athope42705@hotmail.com or call 914.589.8418

Donations needed for surgery for Penny - Elizabethtown, NC

Sweet Penny Beagle was lost. Wandering around hungry, looking for food when suddenly she felt what must have been a seething pain. Her limb was torn from her body.

She was found hobbling around in anguishing pain by Animal Control.  The pain of her limb being ripped from her small fragile frame too much for her she collapsed into the animal control officer's arms. In shock and completely confused Penny the Beagle had finally found the help she had been aimlessly searching  for. She was no longer alone and soon, as she was rushed to the vet clinic.
While we can only imagine what life for skinny sweet Penny the beagle must have been like before Animal Control found her we can offer this girl the medical care she needs. Despite not having funds for her A Shelter Friend has scheduled surgery to amputate the rest of her leg and treat her infections. Penny will need a minimum of $1,500 for the surgery and aftercare. Most importantly Penny the beagle will need a rescue who can offer her to comfort and resources to find this sweet girl a wonderful forever home.

Donations accepted via PayPal at asf@intrstar.net A Shelter Friend is a registered 501(c)3, and your donations are tax-deductible. Donations may also be made to Elizabethtown Vet Hospital 910-862-3000
