They are VERY sweet and well-behaved, completely vetted, housetrained, and do not need to be cr.ated. Their family is giving them up because of what they feel is excessive need to board them for inappropriate periods of time due to their travels. They ring bells to go outside and have no issues. Mike is more outgoing and Mabel is more shy and the follower. They are looking for a home where they can stay together. They do need a fenced yard, and they love to go for walks and snuggle.

He was a stray to our shelter. We've been desperately searching for a rescue that might have a foster home for him. He will make a great companion ! This cute little 20 pound 8 year old beagle girl is coming to NYC in September. Foster home needed in Manhattan OR Brooklyn. Abby will be spayed, all required shots, etc. before her arrival. Stewartsville, NJ Adopt Gertty - very pretty adult female beagle with great markings and personality!

Our sweet gal has been receiving the spa treatment for the last couple of months and she is all ready to be adopted and go to her forever home! She was found in the woods in poor condition--another discarded beagle. No one came looking for her and we took her in. She has been living in a foster home getting pampered and eating great and putting on weight--she's a perfect 30 lbs now. Her coat looks wonderful and she's got a spring in her step. Her blood work is all good and she has been spayed and microchipped and she even had her teeth cleaned!. We guess she's about 7 years old and would be really a wonderful companion for someone with a low-key lifestyle that likes to walk. Gertty thoroughly enjoys her daily walks and like all good beagles loves to "read the Beagle News" with her nose.
