Adopt Underdawg - adorable senior male beagle in VA

Underdawg was a hard luck story to whom we couldn't say no. We got him from a shelter outside of Richmond, where he'd been surrendered by his owner in his senior years. We don't know the story, MAYBE they were unable to care for him, but he was turned in without a name, so we are not so sure. We are calling him Underdawg. He's very friendly. He is house trained in the sense that he leaves the beagle bungalor building through a dog door to go to the bathroom. We haven't had him in a foster home yet so we do not know if he will scratch at the door or otherwise notify you if he has to go potty. But he does not soil the inside of the kennel building at ALL, which we consider a good sign. He's a senior, maybe 10ish. He has cataracts -- can still see some, but is visually impaired. Rescue or Adopt Frankie! Beautiful 3 year old male beagle in VA

Meet Frankie!  This adorable little 3 year old beagle needs a home or rescue now.  He is a small little
guy that really likes the company of other dogs.  Frankie is a very shy boy, but he is so sweet. He is slowly opening up to us, and is wagging his tail when we walk by. He still has a little ways to go, but with the right family he will be a wonderful dog. Frankie is doing great and he really likes other dogs!Frankie is only 16.5 pounds.  What a cute little guy! very adoptable.

Adopt Daizie, adorable small female beagle

Daizies owner has moved to London and, unfortunately, Daizie cant follow her there. So, her owner has made the difficult decision to find a new forever home for her. She is a loving, senior Beagle girl. Daizie loves people and is happy to meet them. While Daizie is generally very patient with children, she would do best in a home without young children. She is a great dog and is not being surrendered for any reason relating to her demeanor or her behavior.

She is very friendly with other dogs and enjoys the dog park. Daizie has lived with cats and generally ignores them. Her favorite things are going for walks, eating tasty treats, getting attention from people (scratches behind the ears are a particular favorite), and napping in sunbeams. Daizie is in good health, except she must use a harness (instead of a collar) for her walks and she has mild arthritis in her hind legs. She doesnt like thunderstorms or fireworks, but her fear is manageable.

Daizie needs a new forever home. Can you the person or family who will provide this beautiful girl with a place to spend her golden years? Shell love you with all her heart for your kindness.

Adopt Annabelle, adorable 5 year old beagle in NJ

Annabelle is ready for her furever home!!  Annabelle is a sweet beagle about 4-5 years old & she weighs about 25 pounds. Annabelle is a little doggie with lots of love to give! She loves to hang out with you & follow you around. She enjoys going for walks and when she meets people, she will runs up to them with her tail wagging and she gives them puppy kisses.   A nice person found Annabelle and turned her into a over poplulated shelter in NC. When we found out her time was limited there, we stepped in brought her to NJ to live in a foster home. 
Her foster mom says "Annabelle is just a doll!! She is incredibly sweet and friendly." Annabelle is a calm doggie & not a baker. She enjoys sitting in the sun and sniffing around the yard. Annabelle needs a home where she can get a lot of attention and love. We are sure Annabelle, will wiggle her way into your heart!

Aleah age 5 and Daisy age 13 looking for new home - NYs

8383Aleah is aprox 5 years-old  weighing 31 lbs came to AG in Jan 2010 from Kentucky and was paralyzed in her hind end. She came as a spayed female and went into heat so we had her spayed. She is current on rabies vaccine. She is now 100% ambulatory.She is typical Beagle is full of love and energy and would do great in a home with children and other dogs.

8362Daisy is 13 years-old weighing 20 lbs came to AG from a home on LI when mom had to move in with daughter. She is just a delight. If I told you she was 7 you would believe it. Daisy is full of energy and loves to eat. She too would do great in any home with dogs or children. Two young beagles need rescue now!! in kill shelter - Pansy and Peyton in Louisiana

These 2 were to be put to sleep yesterday and I asked for time to post!!!!!    They are Beagle mix puppies and are precious!!! They are 4 months old and are up to date on all shots. They are very well -adjusted and full of fun. They love each other.

Pansy is in the first pic and she weighs 19 lbs. Peyton in the next  pic and he weighs 18 lbs.  They may have a little hound , but mostly Beagle.

Please help me find a place for them!! They would make great family pets. We would help with spay and neuter when the time comes!!!
