Adopt Underdawg - adorable senior male beagle in VA

Underdawg was a hard luck story to whom we couldn't say no. We got him from a shelter outside of Richmond, where he'd been surrendered by his owner in his senior years. We don't know the story, MAYBE they were unable to care for him, but he was turned in without a name, so we are not so sure. We are calling him Underdawg. He's very friendly. He is house trained in the sense that he leaves the beagle bungalor building through a dog door to go to the bathroom. We haven't had him in a foster home yet so we do not know if he will scratch at the door or otherwise notify you if he has to go potty. But he does not soil the inside of the kennel building at ALL, which we consider a good sign. He's a senior, maybe 10ish. He has cataracts -- can still see some, but is visually impaired. Heartworm negative, microchipped. We'd love to find him a home or even a permanent foster. Can you save the day for Underdawg?  please visit our site at
