A volunteer writes: Missy is a beautiful lady Beagle. She just looks perfect, so well groomed, a nice weight, friendly and with the most beautiful hazel eyes. Missy, unfortunately is blind and it became evident to her owners just recently. She is said to be a very good and loving dog. Missy might not see like you and me but she takes her cues from what she hears and smells. As a respectable Beagle, she loves treats and will follow a piece of dry liver. She will listen to my voice and the sounds of my shoes. Missy is smart. She eliminates as we walk in the yard. She does not seem afraid of nearby dogs coming to our pen. Missy likes to be petted and seems quite comfortable on my lap. She is a sweet and loving girl who needs a very special person to understand her challenges, will make the best of them while enjoying a wonderful relationship between master and dog.
