CCAS Blackwood NJ "SAD SAYDEE" Very neglected senior beagle/Spaniel mix

Contact; Sherry  sheiser50@yahoo.com
This poor girl came into the shelter as a stray in December from a local town.
Of course her owners did not come for her because they didn't care.
You could see Saydee was terribly neglected by her horrible condition.
Filthy, raw elbows which indicate she had been kept outdoors for a long time.
Her mouth was swollen to the point that she couldn't eat. She had a large tumor hanging from her left ear that has to be hurting her. Long overgrown nails, so so thin, etc.
Saydee trembled from head to toe with fear for days and days. She would not allow us near hear out of both fear and pain.
Well. we got Saydee all fixed up medically and she is now loving our attention and her nice comfy bed.
She still shakes we think from the cold, but gets right out of her bed when she knows it's walk time.
Saydee has been recuperating in a shelter cage. Dogs barking, cold air streaming in her cage , so much noise and confusion for a senior girl who should be in a foster or permanent home by now.
She would so benefit from a loving and kind person who will help her gain some confidence and make her the princess she deserves to be.
Pic 2 is when she first came into the shelter and is sitting in her intake cage shaking with fear. Pic 1 is Saydee yesterday all snug in her blankie.
If you can't help our Saydee, will you please share her post so we can help her?
