Poor Bessie was found along the road. She had been hit by a car and left to die. Thankfully another driver saw her, stopped and took her to the vet who then called the shelter. Bessies leg was in really bad shape and she was pretty bruised but Bessie had the will to live and after a few months of being in a cast and then rehab Bessie is now a wonderful happy girl just looking for a family to keep her safe and love her! 4/18/2011 Bessie dislocated her leg and is now in another cast! She is a wonderful loving dog. Very quiet. LOVES to lay on the couch! Very easy going.
