One of our rescue vets called us last week and asked for help with this sweet 8-year-old female beagle named Susie. He has been Susie’s vet all her life. The owner wants her put to sleep because he doesn’t want to do ACL surgery again. Susie had ACL surgery last year, and needs it on other knee now. She is also on thyroid medication. This angel of a vet told the person he would not euthanize Susie; instead he has offered to do the ACL for free for her new rescue/adopter. She is spayed, up-to-date on everything and loves everybody – cats, kids, other dogs and especially PEOPLE!! A serious love-bug. She is staying at the kind vet’s office until we can find a place for her to go. Please help this lovely dog find a family worthy of her. Crosspost/forwarding ok, no craigslist please. Let me know if you can help her.
Transportation to the northeast, including New Hampshire and Canada, is available.
Thanks in advance,
Lisa Schorr
