Peaceful Passings, Inc. The Amazing Raise!!! September 18 and 19, Peaceful Passings will be a (small) part of the Amazing Raise, a massive on-line fundraising promotion for the benefit of not-for-profits all over Central Virginia. The event is sponsored by GiveRichmond, and last year raised several million dollars for nearly a thousand organizations. There are special bonus prizes for organizations that amass lots of money, or have lots of donors, etc. but since this is our first year participating, and we are such a small organization, we are not looking at that part of it. Maybe in the future ....If you have friends who might find this special event a fun way to contribute to us, or if there's a company with an annual giving program, they could join in. Minimum gift is $25, and all donations must be made by credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) on GiveRichmond.org between 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18 and 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 19.
